Luxury Eco-Barn with idyllic views over a small deerpark overlooking open countryside in a conservation area. Inside the apartment features an eclectic mix of antiques and fine art with an emphasis on warmth, light and comfort making the barn the perfect place for friends or family for a country break. There is a smart TV, a well stocked kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine , oven, microwave and everything you need to cook. The barn is heated by a ground source heat pump and there is also an electric stove for added coziness on winter nights. The barn has views of our garden which has recently been featured in Gardens Illustrated and on the upcoming Sky Arts series 'The Art of the Garden' episode 6. We are very happy for you to enjoy the garden when we are not there during the week, but when the family is there at weekends we ask you to use the dedicated Pond garden as your area to sit out and relax. There is a pottery and art studio below which can be made accessible on request, and we offer tours of the gardens, deerpark, orchards and surrounding countryside .
We welcome all visitors and families- the barn is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children each sharing a bed. But roll out beds and cribs are also available on request. We are dog friendly and smoking is NOT allowed. Please when you book feel free to ask for anything else which we will provide if we can. The house is ideally situated for walking as the surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are many good footpaths and pubs to visit on your way. It is especially lovely in the spring when the garden and surrounding woods are in full bloom and the summer is lovely around the ponds and lakes too. If you would like to book a tour of the garden, or the grounds or to use the pottery studio please also let me know as these need to be booked directly with me.
Nearby attractions include: Formula 1 racing at Silverstone 15 minutes away, horse racing and antiquing at historic market town Towcester, golf at nearby Badby and Farthingstone and beautiful pubs and walks from the doorstep on Jurassic Way over towards the lakes and chapel at Fawsley, the bluebell woods at Badby and over towards Everdon.
