Halfway House is located in the village Mynytho on the hill above Abersoch. The house has been designed with families in mind and is a great base to explore the Llyn Peninsula. The large private south facing gardens provide the perfect retreat if you want a day away from the beach.
Covered pergolas ensure that you can enjoy outside dinning even if the weather changes.
Booking information
Arrival day (change over day) in high season is Friday. If you are booking a week in school holidays it must be Friday to Friday. In school holidays the minimum booking is a week. Please note I don't do any single night bookings. Bookings at popular times of year may be subject to a minimum number of nights. I would like to answer all messages personally however the system does not allow me to do so.
Having spent all my holidays on the Peninsula as a child, when i got the chance to move here a couple of years ago to renovate Halfway House I jumped at the chance. Having stood empty for many years it turned out to be quite an undertaking.
If you need any extra help or suggestions of things to do or places to visit or any questions about the house please ask. Prior to your stay I'll send to you a guide on the house and area which hopefully should cover most of your questions. I'm always looking for ways to improve the house and gardens so you might notice a few small changes from the pictures. I look forward to welcoming you and your party to Halfway House.
The post office and local shop is 100 metres from the house in the village.
Local pub 0.7miles (The Ship) But it’s uphill on way back!
