Less than 20 minutes’ walk from Bowness Bay, Denehurst Guest House is a traditional Lakeland stone house built in 1898. It offers free WiFi and parking and an award-winning breakfast menu featuring Cumbrian produce. The elegantly styled rooms all have an en suite shower with a hairdryer, bathrobes and toiletries. All include a flat-screen TV, DVD player, tea and coffee facilities and a teddy bear. You can enjoy a full Cumbrian breakfast at Denehurst Guest House, featuring local bacon and sausages and Windermere farm eggs. There are homemade breads, waffles and croissants, as well as organic porridge and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Cereals, yoghurt, fruit and juice are also on the menu. Nearby Bowness-on-Windermere offers boat trips on the lake and the World of Beatrix Potter is a 14-minute walk away. The popular towns of Kendal and Ambleside are both within 15-20 minutes’ drive. Priding ourselves on our hospitality as well as an excellent breakfast menu, we have created the perfect atmosphere in which to relax and unwind. We would like to welcome you to our Guest House and we will help in any way we can to ensure that you enjoy your holiday or short break whether it's your first time staying in the Lake District or you are a regular visitor to the area.

Denehurst Guest House in Windermere is a typical Victorian Lakeland property offering all the home comforts in bed & breakfast accommodation, situated in a quiet residential area well within walking distance of Lake Windermere and local shops as well as several excellent restaurants. We are pleased to offer excellent hospitality and hope our guests will enjoy the comfort and the attention we have given to detail. As a result of hard work and our enthusiasm we have been awarded A Certificate of Excellence for the last 5 years. This of course is down to reviews from our staying guests. We also have a Breakfast Award aswell as being rated as " Exceptional" by this platform for the last 5 years
