The perfect base to explore the outstanding natural beauty of Northumberland’s countryside and coast, and its many fabulous attractions.
Catering to couples, groups and families, the recently renovated cottage is an oasis of calm, nestled in the historic and picturesque villages of West Thirston and Felton.
The Cottage is one of Charlie’s Cottages, a family-run Northumberland holiday business. Our cottages are self-managed, providing the personal touches and quality service our guests deserve.
If you need anything at all during your stay, you can message us on the Airbnb app, or alternatively or text or phone.
West Thirston is nestled at the top of the Coquet Valley, next door to Felton and a short drive from the coast. The village has a renowned bakery and cafe, the Running Fox, and an excellent gastro pub, the Northumberland Arms. All of the attractions and sights of Northumberland are in easy reach, including Alnwick and its castle and gardens, Bamburgh, the outstanding coastline and the cheviots for stunning walks. The Farne Isles, Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Warkworth and many other attractions await.
