The apartment is modern and well equipped and has outstanding views of the cricket stadium and beyond. If you are a cricket lover the main bedroom offers one of the best seats to enjoy the game from (subject to a fixture of course), as the flat is on the second floor (no lift, sorry). The lounge has 2 x 2 seater sofas and a flat screen t.v. There is a separate dining room. The fitted kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. The bathroom has a shower over bath. Towels and bed linen are supplied. . There is on street free disc parking on the road outside and surrounding roads (subject to availability). We can supply discs and 2 day permits. For your safety and security there is CCTV in the communal areas. There are no cameras at all in the apartments.
I enjoy making sure that the apartment is clean and well equipped so that my guests can have the best possible stay. If guests give me an approximate time of arrival, I am happy whenever possible to meet and greet. A key box is provided when this may not be possible or required and there is a folder on the coffee table with information, my contact details and the wi-fi code. I have lived in the apartment myself and so I am fully aware about the accommodation and the area and I am happy to answer any queries and be as helpful as possible ( and as required) both before or during your stay. In the hopefully unlikely event that anything should go wrong, I urge guests to contact me in the first instance to give me the chance to put things right as quickly as possible.
The apartment is in a very good location in Scarborough. Within easy walking distance to the left (with your back to the property) is the North Bay, the cinema, crazy golf, Peasholm Park, the open air theatre, local shops, restaurants and pubs. If you walk a little way to the right you will see a passageway across the road which gives access straight to the cliff top as we are only one road away. From there you can walk down to the sea or to the skate park or North Bay amenities and along to the castle from which you can then go over to the South Bay. If you continue up the road to the right, it will take you to the town centre. You will also pass more local shops, café’s, take aways and pubs. The cricket stadium is directly at the back of the property with excellent views of it and the cricket shop and ground entrance are right next door
