Dreel Cottage is a late 18th century traditional double fronted cottage, with an enclosed garden to the rear. A summerhouse provides shelter from sun, wind or rain for two people. Parking for one car is available adjacent to the cottage. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped. Downstairs is a very comfortable lounge, dining room, bright spacious and well equipped kitchen. The stone staircase takes you up to the two spacious bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Both rooms have good storage. The shared bathroom has a modern walk in shower. Dreel Cottage was awarded a 5 star Certificate of Excellence by Trip Advisor and regularly achieves excellent reviews from guests
Alan and Pam Wilson are delighted to welcome guests to stay at Dreel Cottage, and are happy to provide any guidance as to local amenities and activities.
Dreel Cottage is located on the West High Street of Anstruther, a short walk from the beach, the golf course and the picturesque harbour town with its shops and restaurants. To the rear of the property is a quiet walk to the Dreel Burn, and our neighbours at the historic Dreel Tavern have a great reputation for excellent food and drink. The East Neuk of is renowned for its beautiful coastline, popular with families, walkers, golfers and artists. Ten minutes drive from historic St Andrews or 20 minutes drive to the V and A Museum and other attractions in the city of Dundee.
