Driftwood is a luxury, modern, self-catering holiday lodge set in a quiet, picturesque hamlet of Soar. You will experience that home from home feeling at Driftwood, with a well equipped kitchen with integrated appliances, 50" flat screen TV and a selection of board games and books. Each bedroom has fitted wardrobes and all bed linen and towels are provided. Driftwood is one of 34 lodges on a beautifully maintained holiday park and is well situated for some stunning countryside views from the enclosed decked terrace. The site has an excellent children's play park, with swings and wooden play apparatus. Within a short walk, there is a charming secluded dog friendly cove and many great walks along the South West Coastal Path. Please note that due to availability of cleaners, we cannot offer changeover on Sundays.
We became the new owners of Driftwood Lodge in October 2020 and are so excited about our stunning lodge and it's location. We have been holidaying in South Devon for a number of years now, and know you will love the area and all it has to offer. There are so many beautiful beaches, walks, restaurants and places to visit. We particularly love Salcombe and the beautiful countryside in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We wish you a very pleasant stay!
The nearest village of Malborough hosts two dog friendly pubs, a post office and a small ASDA. There is a spa hotel just 10 mins walk away where you can dine, or stop for a drink on the way to the beach. The popular estuary town of Salcombe can be reached within a 15 minutes drive, and similarly within 10 minutes you could visit the charming Hope Cove with it's two beaches, pubs and restaurants. This area of Devon is a very popular holiday destination for it's stunning beaches and the many coastal towns and villages within easy reach.
