Ricca di carattere originale e fascino tradizionale, questa accogliente locanda di campagna del XIX secolo offre ottime birre, cibo dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo e comode camere con bagno privato, ricavate dalle ex scuderie ristrutturate. Costruito originariamente nel 1866, il Duke of Wellington era un tempo una fattoria attiva e una locanda per mandriani. Costruito tradizionalmente in pietra calcarea del Derbyshire, il pub ha un tetto in ardesia, scoppiettanti caminetti e ampi giardini. Nel bar è disponibile la connessione internet wireless gratuita. Ci sono 9 camere con bagno privato nella stalla splendidamente ristrutturata. Situate lontano dall'edificio principale, le camere offrono comfort e privacy. La scuderia è dotata di un cortile lastricato e in loco è disponibile un parcheggio privato gratuito. Tutte le camere sono dotate di TV e set per la preparazione di tè e caffè. Recentemente ristrutturata in stile rustico tradizionale, la locanda vanta ampi giardini fioriti con comode aree salotto. È presente anche un patio completamente chiuso e riscaldato, con vista sul castello di Riber e sulla valle del Derwent.

Le coppie apprezzano molto la posizione: l'hanno valutata 8,4 per un viaggio a due.
