Situated on the Carmarthenshire coastline, this ground-floor flat offers a perfect place to stay for exploring local attractions and relaxing. There are 2 bedrooms, one king size and one double. There is a fully equipped open-space kitchen, diner and living room space. Patio doors open out to a balcony overlooking the beautiful Carmarthen Bay and towards Gower. From the comfort of the living room you can relax and enjoy watching the tide come and go. The Millennium Coastal Path which spans the entire Welsh coastline runs directly in front of the apartment. The path is perfect for walking, cycling or jogging along. The docks are behind the apartments and they are popular for water sports such as swimming and bodyboarding. There is a free designated parking spot right outside the apartment. As our guests you also have free access to Edens Health Spa which is located about 10 minutes drive away.

Hi. I’m Joanna. My husband and I have owned CockleDora since it was built back in 2004. Originally we let it out on short-term leases but about four years ago I thought I’d give holiday letting a go. I’ve enjoyed the job so much I’m still doing it! I'm not generally a fan of housework but I seem to get great satisfaction out of preparing the apartment for guests. I think the views outside distract me from the fact that I’m working! I have met some wonderful guests over the years and it is always a pleasure to witness the reaction on faces when the the view is seen for the first time! I am mum to three so I’m always rushing around and busy! I love my garden and spend many hours in the poly tunnel. I grow a lot of my own veg and if the slugs don’t beat me, I like to cut my home-grown flowers for the apartment. Dahlias and Astor’s are my favourites! I am also an independent voice and language coach. We live on the outskirts of Llanelli so I am conveniently close to the apartment. I am always happy to answer any queries to the best of my ability. The beautiful sea views and countryside surrounding CockleDora are outstanding but there are also plenty of other fabulous places to visit and explore nearby. Llanelli is home to the Scarlets rugby team. The stadium is only minutes away via car. The Millennium Coastal Path is directly outside the flat. It stretches the whole length of the Welsh coastline. It is ideal for walking, cycling, running or rollorblading! There are regular organised marathons and group activities on this route. A little further up the coastline is Pembrey Country Park. It is one of Wales's Top Visitor attractions. It boasts 500 acres of woodland and 8 miles of award winning golden sands! The docks are situated behind the apartment which you will see as you cross over the bridge. People frequently swim, canoe, bodyboard and paddle in them. Llanelli town centre is within 10 minutes walking distance. The newly refurbished Llanelli Bistro is a 2 minutes walk! The M4 is 15 minutes away. If driving you can visit Gower within an hour or Pembroke within an hour and a half. The Brecon Beacons and the highest peak in South Wales, Pen-y-fan is 2 hours away. The apartment is in a beautiful and convenient location!
