Billie's on the Beach beachfront restaurant is an absolute must-visit, as is the local fish & chip shop Moby’s. Bracklesham Tea Rooms is a stone's throw away - a gorgeous thatched cottage with traditional afternoon teas. The Co-op store is an easy walk, as is the Goat cafe and K&Gs farm shop. In East Wittering, there's a big Tesco. In Birdham, there's a Little Waitrose at the Shell petrol station. Grocer, fishmonger, butcher, supermarkets and surf shops in neighbouring village East Wittering. Goodwood is a 25 minute drive away. Bracklesham Bay is at the end of the road, less than half a mile away. The sandy beach of West Wittering is a 10 minute drive away, or you can walk there along the coast from the house. Lots of beautiful walks nearby, including Medmerry nature reserve - ask for details! Easy 5km running route through fields, just up from the house. Water-sports and archery available locally. 15/20 min drive to Chichester if you want a city fix (although really, why would you with the beach to occupy you!).
