Welcome to our 2 bedroom end terrace house in Denton Holme, Carlisle! We can accommodate 4 people, with a king size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. We can also provide 2 travel cots. We cater for families with children of any age, people traveling for work or breaking up a long journey and dog lovers on holiday. The house is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Carlisle, round the corner from nearby shops and a short stroll from a lovely walk by the River Caldew. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables, wall-to-wall wardrobes and a dressing table that works well as an office area. For those with children, we provide a box of toys to keep them entertained. The spacious second bedroom has two single beds with bedside tables, lamps and a large chest of drawers. The bathroom has a good-sized bath with a shower over it. Downstairs, the living room includes a comfy leather sofa that’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying Sky and Netflix on the TV. There’s also a dining table and four chairs, so you can sit down to dinner or set up your office and work (wi-fi is provided). The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and crockery and fitted with an electric oven and gas hob. The big fridge freezer has plenty of space if you’re planning to dine in, and there’s a washing machine and a drying rack so you can stay on top of your laundry. We also have two different travel high chairs to suit babies and toddlers. Just outside the kitchen door is our backyard – a small area with artificial grass and potted plants, which leads to the communal alleyway that’s shared with the neighbours.# Our guests have sole access to the whole house (except for the downstairs spare room, which is locked and used to store extra bedding, towels and cleaning supplies). The back yard is overlooked by the neighbours back yards and rear windows.

These sections are always a challenge for me! I have a husband, a baby, a dog and a house that keeps me busy. I love a bit of gardening and exploring in the Lake District and beyond. I like cooking, but I'm dreadful at cooking multiple things at the same time. In the moments of free time, I like to do a bit of crafting or DIY. Guests are able to check yourself in and out. I usually do not meet with our guests in person, but I am very prompt with messages and contact. I welcome any suggestions and tips. If there is an issue during your stay, either myself (Emma) or my husband (Keith) will come to resolve the problem if necessary. We will always try to gain permission before entering the house, but in the case of an emergency, we may have to let ourselves in.

Located in Carlisle's "Urban Village," Denton Holme has quick and easy access to the city centre, either a five minute drive or a ten minute walk. Very near to a beautiful riverside walk. A few minutes walk away from the house is a range of takeaway options, local shops and a pharmacy.
