It’s a lovely little historic market town and civil parish and a charming place to discover. A little bit further in the other direction (8.5 miles to be precise), you’ll reach Oxford. From the Ashmolean Museum to the Bodleian Library to punting on the river, there’s so much to see and enjoy. Rural location, car essential.
