    The accommodation is located next to the Corpatch railway station - the Jacobite steam train passes four times a day. The parking is located next to the accommodation. Very spacious accommodation with good heating. The Co-op is just round the corner.

    Great location. A stones throw from the railway station at Corpach and the Caledonian canal and only 15 minute drive to the Ben Nevis trailhead. There was a local chippie down the road in the next village and a M&S Foodhall 10 minutes drive away....

    Great location near to shops, a cafe and a bar. We loved seeing the steam train going past from the lazy boys after getting back from Ben Nevis! Would stay again.

    The location was great, by the canal and the towpath for walks. The kitchen/sitting space is small but suited us fine as we were there for the outdoor activities.

The pine clad Snowgoose Apartments are three first floor, separate self-contained fully equipped apartments located 4 miles from the base of Ben Nevis in the Highlands of Scotland. This is an ideal flexible base for short breaks & family holidays for couples, groups of friends, or clubs. It is a great holiday destination for independent outdoor enthusiasts – all year round – or for just chilling out! The accommodation sleeps 6 or 2-4 persons and can be booked singly, or together for larger groups. Each apartment has stunning views over Ben Nevis to the east, out to the hills towards Ardgour & Mallaig to the west, and over nearby the islands in the tidal headwaters of Loch Linnhe. The accommodation itself looks out over the south-west end of the 70 mile-long Caledonian Canal with boats & yachts passing through. All kitchen units are fully fitted with oven/hob and cooker hood, plus a fridge and microwave with more than adequate crockery, cutlery and general utensils plus toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The heating in all thee accommodation has recently been upgraded to wifi controllable heating in all rooms plus an electric “real fire” in the lounge areas.
Snowgoose Apartments along with the Smiddy Bunkhouse & Blacksmiths Backpackers Hostel near Fort William are owned & run by Tina Cuthbertson – who is a long standing outdoor enthusiasts. The accommodation building was opened in 1990 offering self-catering accommodation in the heart of the fantastic Scottish Highlands. This is in an ideal base for guests to independently explore the surrounding west coast of Scotland or take to take part in our own adventure activities, with our unique blend of landscape and a huge variety of outdoor adventure activities for all levels … not to mention the wildlife. Snowgoose Mountain Centre also offers guiding services, courses & adventure activity days in canoeing, river & sea kayaking, sailing as well as winter & summer walking & climbing through our in-house provision. There are on-site facilities for open canoe or kayak hire – as well as mountain boots, wet suits, ice axes & crampons, etc. There are additional on-site facilities for bike and canoe storage or hire, two efficient drying rooms as well as a equipped meeting / lecture room for hire for training groups.
The village of Corpach is located 4 miles to the northwest of Fort William on the “Road to the Isles” with a Co-op grocery store which is open from 06.30 am – 23.00pm each day – every day – a two-minute walk from the accommodation with The Tradewinds Bar just next door. The nearby village of Caol (a 15-minute walk away) and the town of Fort William both have a range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Nearby local attractions include walking in our fantastic glens and forests; local & steam trains running from our doorstep (“The Harry Potter” & Jacobite train runs right past our door!); quiet roads to explore the Highlands by car, cycle or motor bike; accessible mountain bike trails; boat trips; free fishing from the nearby pier; golf, gondola rides to access our ski area at Nevis Range; ski-ing & snowboarding at Nevis Range & Glencoe in winter; an excellent local museum & nearby geological display; The Lochaber Geopark; ten pin bowling at the Nevis Centre. There are fabulous sunsets over the Glenfinnan hills to the west– especially in autumn and winter! Or it is brilliant to watch the sun rise over the Ben Nevis range to the east. What’s not to like
