Only 15 minutes drive from Norwich, yet in an outstanding rural setting, Farthings is the perfect place to escape to the country. Whether you wish to relax on the terrace, explore the local countryside or make your way to the city, there is something for everyone. You can even say hello to our other residents; the Norfolk horn sheep, highland cows, and Riley our cockador!

Local Area There is plenty to do in the local area: * Fishing at Taswood Lakes * Walking, including Boudicca’s Way * Golf at Dunston Hall or Bungay * Paddle boarding and kayak hire in Bungay * Redwings Horse Sanctuary Norwich is lovely city only 15 minutes away, offering a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as a stunning Cathedral and Castle. Slightly further afield, you can visit the Norfolk coastline. Winterton is a great beach where you can often see seals and Southwold is a very popular coastal spot with boutique shops and great fish & chips! The easiest way to reach Farthings is by car - we have plenty of space for parking up to four cars.
