Bradford On Avon railway station is just two miles away, with regular trains into Bath. Buses run daily from Holt to Bath. Enjoy the English countryside with walks from your doorstep, explore The Courts National Trust gardens next door or visit 15th Century Great Chalfield Manor. The picturesque town of Bradford-on-Avon is just a five minute drive away. Here you can explore the Kennet and Avon canal by bicycle or boat, indulge yourself in the characterful shops, sample cheeses and fresh veg from the market and admire the architecture. Garden lovers are spoilt for choice, with Iford Manor and Dyrham Park also within easy reach. Soak up the historic atmosphere at Lacock Abbey, or families will have a blast at Longleaf Safari.
