Fir Tree Lodge is a large family home, set over 3 floors. There are two guest rooms on the 1st floor, with a shared bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and a chillout area with books and games. We have excellent public transport links to Bristol city centre with regular buses and trains. Please note, the house is situated next to the railway line, trains run from 5.30 to 22.30.

I have lived in Shirehampton with my family since 2019, and I have been hosting since 2020. I love gardening, crafts, and painting. You will see evidence of this around the house and garden. Protecting the environment and nature is very important to me, I use eco cleaning products and natural fibres for bedding and furnishings where possible, always with comfort and durability at the heart of my choices.

Shirehampton is a suburb of Bristol, with good public transport access to Temple Meads, Clifton and the city centre. We are close to the river Avon and the motorway junction.Shirehampton village is a 10 minute walk away. There, you will find a selection of food stores, chemists, pubs, and takeaways. There are buses from the village green to Cribbs Causeway, Southend and Westbury on Trym. The train station at Shirehampton is a flat 8 minute walk away. Here, the train runs on the Severn Beach line to Avonmouth and Severn Beach in one direction and to Seamills, Clinton Down, and Temple Meads in the other. We also have the number 9 Brislington/ Portway park and ride bus service just on the doorstep.
