FLINT HOUSE is set in a quiet location on the edge of the South Downs National Park, in a leafy lane, lined with giant Redwood trees on one side and a field on the other, with views over the South Downs and Kingly Vale. The most gorgeous sunsets to be seen with regular sightings of deer and pheasants from the open plan kitchen dinning room with double height windows. GOODWOOD EVENTS - FESTIVAL OF SPEED, GLORIOUS GOODWOOD and REVIVAL, are almost 2 miles away by car or bicycle. Many wonderful walks can be taken from our doorstep. This includes a short walk to Chichester, in one direction, Lavant village another direction and Goodwood Race circuit another direction

We both enjoy, seeing our family and friends, travelling, playing music, photography, colourful art, the countryside, the coastal beach walks and walking in the mountains. We especially love our Cocker Spaniel, Winnie. As your hosts, we will give you a warm welcome and at the same time be respectful of your privacy. We will enjoy sharing our knowledge of the local area with you.

GOODWOOD with all their events, are within 2 miles, only 5 minutes away. COWDRAY PARK, with its Polo events is a little over 20 minutes away. Chichester with its Cathedral, Bishop's Gardens, city wall, pedestrianised centre, museums, art galleries, cafés and restaurants and canal are easily accessible within minutes by car, bike or even bus. To walk, it would take around 20 minutes The Wellies Café and Restaurant is five minutes drive from Flint House. Further afield, there is the quaint village of Bosham with its arts and crafts galleries and a little further is East Head at West Witterings Beach. Be sure to visit Petworth, famous for its antique showrooms, Petworth House and grounds and also Arundel with its castle, lake and grounds.
