Welcome to our little oasis. Enjoy the peace, tranquillity and stunning views across the Cromarty Firth to the hills beyond. Fyrish View is a perfect base to explore the beautiful Black Isle and the northern Highlands. There truly is no better place to relax, unwind and take in the views.
Please note - we no longer have a hot tub available.
My husband Kev and I moved to the Highlands, 5 miles east of Culbokie on the Black Isle, in 2019 to escape the rat race and live amongst the mountains and sea air that we love. We have now lovingly renovated our old block built stable into a contemporary, clean and cosy self-contained studio with views over the Cromarty Firth and hills beyond.
Rural with stunning views over the Cromarty Firth to the Fyrish Monument and Ben Wyvis, with forest walks on the doorstep. Within 15 minutes drive you can reach Cromarty, a lovely seaside town with quirky shops, lovely cafes and restaurants and the South Sutors - a trail up to the cliff top where the views across to Nigg and the north sea are to die for. Also within 15 minutes is the lovely beach at Rosemarkie, which has a wonderful beach cafe and lovely restaurant along the sea front, The Crofters, serving top quality food. Five minutes drive beyond Rosemarkie beach (or a 20 minute walk along the beach) you reach Chanonry Point, a great place for spotting bottlenose dolphins.
A car is essential to travel around the Black Isle and surrounding area. Parking is generally plentiful and free in the area.
