Garden Cottage is an unusual stone cottage suitable for up to 2 guests, tucked away in a leafy garden (access on foot through owners garden). Close to all amenities in the bustling town of Wiveliscombe and within 10 miles of Exmoor. Garden Cottage has recently been fitted with new appliances and under-floor heating in the bathroom to make stays cosy and comfortable. The property comprises an upstairs double bedroom, and downstairs there is an open-plan living room with kitchen facilities and a bathroom with walk-in shower (no bath). Please note, there is NO OVEN. Wiveliscombe is a small town and civil parish in Somerset, England, situated 9 miles west of Taunton. Wiveliscombe is ideally located to explore the Brendon Hills, the Quantocks, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as Exmoor National Park. Once a thriving market town, today Wiveliscombe, known locally as Wivey, is a bustling town comprising pubs, restaurants and an interesting variety of independent shops including a family run butcher and a delicatessen. There is a lively Saturday morning market where stall holders sell local produce including vegetables, bread, cheeses and locally produced ready meals.
