The George and Dragon Country hotel, is a family run business with several years experience in the catering industry. The pub is part of Nibbles Catering and Events Limited, run by the landlady Sharon. Not only do we run and own our catering business, and the George and Dragon Country Hotel we also are part of a locally run party/balloon business plus the double decker catering bus company. We have an extensive range of experience in the hospitality sector, and customer service has always been ay the heart of everything we do. We encourage all of guests to come to us with any feedback, good and bad. Not only so we can improve on the service we provide, but to also ensure your stay is nothing less then 5 star quality. Our restaurant in the main bar offers a wide range of both English and Thai cuisines, our head chef is on hand the ensure only fresh, homecooked dishes are served 7 days a week. We can cater for all dietary requirements and allergens on request.

A lovely Grade 2 listed building with 2.5 acres of gardens, with Winston Churchill once listed as a trustee. Our accommodation is situated in the grounds of the pub, split between the old stable and skittle alley conversions. Our bar is well stocked with local ales and spirits, a varied wine list plus a vast selection of ciders and lagers. We offer both traditional English and Thai cuisine, all homemade and cooked fresh to order.

Situated in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, the local town of Tadley is only a short drive away. Basingstoke and Newbury are an easy commute via the A339, both only a 20 minute drive away. Unfortunately we are not on any local bus routes however staff are on hand to arrange any taxi services you require. We are surrounded by many countryside footpaths and bridleways, most of which are shown on maps and booklets inside the pub itself. Local attractions include, Bombay Sapphire, Highclere Castle, Milestone Museum to name a few.
