This converted old forge offers spacious accommodation, ideal for a small family or two couples with their dogs. Nearby Winchcombe is a walkers' paradise and the Windrush Way takes you from the cottage out to Sudeley Castle making this an easily-accessible and inspiring location. The ground floor open plan living area is bright and airy and the split staircase creates privacy for each bedroom. You will find everything you need on arrival with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms set under the eaves and wooden beams. The shared wooden decking provides space to dine al fresco and you have access to a shared lawn. Set on the Sudeley Cottages Estate you are in a private courtyard of similar properties giving this location peace and tranquillity. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. Sudeley Castle and Gardens: A booking made for this property entitles you to free admission to Sudeley Castle and Gardens, as many times as you wish during your stay. This includes general admission, during the open season, but does not include entry to special events. To check if the Castle and Gardens are open for your dates, or to book a ticket for a special event, please refer to the Sudeley Castle website. 2 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. The three Old Forge apartment cottages have restricted headroom in parts of the bedrooms and landing areas due to the original oak beams and A-frame structure.

Winchcombe is an elegant and timeless Cotswold town. Venture down the narrow side streets to find a mix of Cotswold stone cottages and black and white half-timbered buildings. The town is a famous centre for walkers, yet also boasts a number of traditional pubs and delicious cafes, galleries, boutique clothing, interior design and antique shops to browse. During your stay at Sudeley Castle Country Cottages you are entitled to free admission to Sudeley Castle and Gardens during the Castle’s open season (except for separately ticketed events). If you wish to visit the Castle and gardens during your stay, please take your room key or booking receipt with you to the admissions desk.
