Gerty’s Getaway is named after one of our Pekin chooks. It is a self contained unit in our barn opposite the house. The space includes king sized bed, dining table and chairs, sofa and coffee table and small kitchen with two ring hob, fridge, sink and microwave. The bathroom is separate - bath with shower over. We have free parking onsite - right outside the barn. It is totally private and very quiet, situated down a small no through lane. We have a few chooks and two lop eared rabbits who all hop around the garden and live happily together. Everdon is a beautiful little village with a great food pub and lots of fantastic walks right on the doorstep. Nearest shops, laundry facility and petrol station 4 miles away.

Tracy and Mark own Oak Heart and the barn. We work partly from home but when not working we like to walk, cycle and play tennis. We love having people come to stay! The barn is totally private and we will leave you to your own devices but are absolutely here for you if you would like help or recommendations.

Everdon is a small village (approx 300 residents) with its own very successful and popular pub, which has won a number of awards. We have an impressive church and lots of lovely walks and cycle routes from the property. Shops, cinema, laundry, petrol, pharmacy about 4 miles away in nearby Weedon or Daventry.
