The comfortable accommodation is situated on a working livestock farm in a hamlet near the picturesque village of Godshill in one of the most beautiful parts of the island. Peace and tranquillity are guaranteed.
We keep llamas, alpacas, rare breed sheep (Boreray and Castlemilk moorit) from the fleeces of which we have knitting and weaving yarn plus woven blankets for sale. We also have a small herd of Dexter cattle and 3 very friendly and affectionate dogs - Spike is a Westie/poodle, Crispin a springer spaniel and Cyrus a boxer. Our woods & hedgerows host red squirrels which we are delighted to see regularly on the feeders plus dormice, badgers, foxes, rabbits, water voles and many different birds.
We are situated in an Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty on the Garden Isle amidst a network of footpaths and bridleways which lead through farmland onto the downs and the coast. A long drive leads to the house from the public road ensuring peace and quiet away from busy traffic.
