Private lodge overlooking the 17th tee on an exceptional golf course. Contractors very welcome. Amazing leisure facilities include swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. 18 hole golf course par 70. (Additional costs apply to golf and leisure facilities)
Welcome to Layriggs our beautiful lodge overlooking the golf course just a few steps away from excellent leisure facilities. It is owned by myself, Sue and my husband Brian. Our daughter Catherine ensures that it is left clean and comfortable for our lovely guests to stay in. We are always available on the end of the phone and live 10 minutes away. Catherine and I make stunning memorial jewellery and we preserve wedding and funeral flowers into resin keepsakes. Catherine also owns a Dog grooming salon with her friend. Brian loves to spend his time on Tydd St Giles Golf course "trying" to play golf !! Catherine uses the gym in the leisure centre with Andrea, her personal trainer, getting fitter with boxercise and hit sessions. Currently I am working on a resin river table to put onto the decking of the lodge - watch this space !!
Amazing views from the lodge. Leisure facilities on site. Nearby shopping centres in Wisbech, Spalding, Norwich, King's Lynn, Peterborough, Ely and Cambridge. An hours drive to lovely sandy beaches and The North Norfolk coast. Wildlife. Welney Wash nature reserve. Museums in most of the nearby towns and cities. Sandringham, Holkham Hall, Gressinghall Farm & Workhouse. Historic King's Lynn and Norwich. Peterborough Cathedral with the final resting place of Catherine or Aragon. Visit Ely to see Oliver Cromwell's home and exhibits about Cromwell and English Civil War. National Trust Peckover House and Gardens are popular as is Wisbech & Fenland Museum and Octavia Hills Birthplace House. There are many local restaurants serving a variety of excellent food.
