Tinto Retreats This charming, stone barn conversion is perfect for a cosy romantic retreat or an action-filled vacation. It’s perfectly positioned in an idyllic rural location with wonderful valley and countryside scenery, surrounded by the open hills of Scotland’s stunning Southern Uplands. The area is a paradise for walking, hiking, cycling, fishing, gold panning, paddle boarding and hand-gliding. Direct from Wiston, you can walk up Tinto Hill which gives spectacular views of the Clyde Valley.

The location is ideal:- quiet with amazing views, yet near the main network of roads that makes it easy to travel to the larger towns/cities. At the end of the our drive is the amazing Wiston Lodge with acres of woodland walks, a small lake and some surprising art installations to discover.
