Solace Stays was founded by husband and wife duo Chris and Cerys Blackwell during the Pandemic of 2020. Chris bought his first investment property with his previous business partner in 2016 which they refurbished and let out. After the success of the first property they renovated two more properties for the rental market before embarking on a commercial conversion where they took an old pub and transformed it into 6 luxury apartments. In 2019 Chris renovated two more properties to sell with his brother, one of which was featured on the TV program “Homes Under The Hammer” where they were interview by Martin Roberts. In 2020 Chris bought his first property for the holiday let market, bringing his wife on board and Solace Stays was born. Their vision is to provide amazing stays for the staycation and corporate markets here in South Wales.
