Falmouth is steeped in history from its deep natural harbour to its historic castles. A visit to the National Maritime Museum is the perfect place to cultivate your understanding of the sea and then take the short walk up to Pendennis Castle; built in the 1540’s by Henry VIII this artillery fort stands proudly on the headland.
The local area is surrounded by stunning gardens such as Trebah, Penjerick and Glendurgan; these superb locations are perfect for those who love walking and taking in the local natural beauty.
Spend time exploring our natural reefs and caves while being surrounded by wildlife. One of the best ways to experience Falmouth is by paddleboard; book a beginner’s class or enjoy a guided tour of the south coast’s stunning coastline with WESUP.
