Hello and welcome to our property which we are sure you will enjoy. It has a very homely feel to it and we very much enjoy our time down here whenever we can get down.
Please note the property is close to a train line but I am sure you will just zone out of the noise, it has never caused a problem. Please also note that the prices do not include entertainment and swimming pool passes but these can be purchased separately. In high season these are roughly 150-200 for a family of four for a week. Just message us to get these organized.
You will still be able to use the shops amusements and on site weatherspoons style pub without entertainment passes - the Mash and Barrel which is near the main entertainment complex on site near reception.
Starlink high speed satellite internet is currently provided free of charge, feel free to put the dish back in the caravan if you want to lock up but please unplug the white router by the tv, as the dish will get hot inside. This item is subject to change if we get feedback that people don't want the hassle of putting the dish back inside.
Water based air cooler and fans provided.
We have a very experienced management agent who looks after the property, if we can't assist remotely Tracey will ! Details provided upon booking.
We are keen Dog lovers and both dogs and children are very welcome at the property with no additional charges for dogs. Its only a short walk to the beach and if you get up early the dog will likely have it to themselves which is a lot of fun. Ozzy, our cavelier king charles loves a good tear up and down it !
There is a lovely garden set and John Lewis Gas BBQ, if it runs out of gas we will replace with our compliments within 24 hours excluding weekends. Just message us and enjoy !
There is just so much to mention here but here are a few tips. Will expand on this over time.
Getting the supplies in.
The onsite shop, The Co-op at Hamworthy, brilliant selection, it's an Amazon Locker, and opens 7 days a week 7am - 11pm. Asda in Poole.
Soutars Butchers - Just stunning, a selection to rival Selfridges Food Hall and not daft prices. My favourite butcher from anywhere, top top quality and they will prep anything you want.
Parkstone Fisheries - Just stunning, a selection to rival Selfridges Food Hall and not daft prices. Top Top Quality and they will prep anything you want.
Greenslades in Poole near the Sandbanks factory, not the retail shop in town. Buy the the fish straight off the boat, super quality, really good prices.
Takeaways which deliver -Papa Johns,Always Frydays, Abid Spice, Pizzarella Kebabs, Rainbow Chinese.
Restaurants and Pubs.
The Mash and Barrel on site is good but if busy a great breakfast is available at Millies Cove nearby
The yachtsmen is the closest pub and great for food and drink. If a Sunday Roast is required head there.
Jolly sailor on the Quay for a session and very loud rock music 6 nights a week.
Da Vinci's italian is lovely and looks over the Sunseeker area in Poole. Will make you feel poor unless you have a spare 12 million for a boat but looks lovely as the sun sets
There is cafe on the beach serving Costa Coffee, Sandwiches, drinks and ice creams.
Things to do.
A ton and google is very much your friend :)
Wareham Market on Saturday mornings, gets busy in the summer get there early. Victoria Tea Rooms and The Salt Pig cafe \ butcher should be on your list.
Brownsea Island - if you've never been, do it !
Swanage. A throw back and lovely !
Sandbanks - Beautiful beaches but gets very very busy in summer. Would not bother driving there if it's a scorcher, there is a bus from Rockley but also gets double busy.
