Hazeldene Cottage is a charming stone built character property, located just outside the picturesque village of Holmfirth. Together with stunning views, a private location and luscious countryside, Hazeldene cottage is perfect for those seeking a country retreat with high quality accomodation. Split over 2 floors the property comprises of a modern, newly appointed open plan kitcher/diner and spacious, comfortable lounge. from the entrance hall you have access to the open stairway leading to first floor which offers 2 bedrooms, ensuite and main family bathroom. Externally the cottage has a pretty rear garden with patio area, vegetable patch and stunning views. The property is situated behind electric gates with ample parking on street at the front of the property.
Having lived in the local area for over 10 years the owners have plenty of local knowledge. The owners of the property live locally and are keen mountain bikers, outdoor enthusiasts and also teach Yoga in the local area. Should you wish to have any information on classes or what else you can do, the owners are more than happy to help with this and also live just opposite the cottage with their 2 children and 2 dogs.
The centre of Holmfirth only a short distance away from the cottage ( approx 1.2 miles) is famous for The Last of The Summer Wine. Also host to numerous festivals throughout the year, including a weekly farmers market you will find plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. For those wanting to venture further afield the towns of Huddersfield, Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester are all within easy reach by car or train. Local to the cottage itself and within walking distance you can find restaurants, pubs, shops and take-aways.
