We enjoy our home, village life and spending time with our daughter and pets. The local area is full of lovely places to go and we love them, as much as guests do! Hosting has been quite a new branch of our lives and providing happy breaks is still brilliantly rewarding! I will be keen to check all is well and happy to communicate as much as you require for your stay, but respectful of the fact that it is your stay and communication needs vary for people. This exquisite country cottage is romantic, cosy and comfy; ideal to spend time as a couple, small family or group. Every effort has been taken to make it special: Hypnos beds with luxury vegan 'feels like down' duvets, (Please note: At 6 foot long beds are 3 inches less than a standard size) vegan toiletries, woodburner, throws, 2 Smart TVs, outdoor dining, kitchen extras including milk, filter coffee, tea and cookies. The location is peaceful countryside but only 20 minutes from Bath with a bus stop at the end of the road. Take stunning walks from the doorstep, walk to the local pub or visit many NT properties and Cotswold towns nearby. Openplan lounge with woodburner, Smart TV and L shaped sofa. The deep cushioned corner pew is a comfy dining area, spot to read or work, with good WIFI. Sit hear and listen to the birdsong. Upstairs is vaulted with exposed beams and high ceilings. Wide elm boards in the main bedroom, fireplace and luxurious touches give the room a boutique feel. Bedroom 2 is ideal for a child or adult. Various duvet covers and touches can be used to tailor the room to your child. The bathroom has a walk in shower with feature lighting. Look out for Tina Turner; the visiting chicken in the front garden.

Atworth is a beautiful village, very well located and Hebe Cottage is sat in a particularly charming and old part, between the clock tower and church. You can hear the bells chime on the hour. Set in a peaceful, tree lined lane, just off the A365, from which you can easily access other places. The bus stop is at the end of the road and links you to Bath within 20 minutes, with a buses running back from Bath until 11:15pm. The local garage / post office and shop are 2 minutes away, for essentials. The local pub is a ten minute walk and a welcoming place for drinks and food. Also nearby is the excellent Lowdens Garden Centre with café and farm shop; Ill Vello D'oro Italian for dining in or take away pizzas and the beautiful, gastro Pear Tree pub and restaurant. Forage and Cowshed both come highly recommended for breakfast and lunch in stunning countryside settings. The Tudor village of Lacock and the Cotswold towns of Corsham and Bradford-on-Avon are a ten minute drive. The cottage is also ideally placed for a quiet week spent snuggling up and taking walks across beautiful countryside from the doorstep. There are wanders in all directions. A wide choice of supermarkets are ten minutes drive away in Melksham. Parking is on the quiet street.
