We offer self catering glamping holidays in either one of our 4 yurts or our quirky shepherds hut. Our yurts are Mongolian and have full sized comfortable beds, with bedding supplied. We have wood burning stoves, outside seating areas with fire pits and communal bathrooms with hot water, and hot showers, flushing toilets and solar lighting. We have free superfast WiFi and for those who prefer some home comforts a kitchen area with fridges, air fryer, toaster, electric kettle, electric power points for charging gadgets. Plenty of parking in private car park.
We are a family run business and our glamping site has been established since 2012. We enjoy meeting our guests and sharing our farm and livestock with our guests. Many guests return year on year to enjoy our peaceful rural location yet within easy walking distance of our local pub, the Tally Ho Inn at Littlehemptson and our nearest town at Totnes, which is just 3 miles away.
Guests enjoy the very peaceful location, with clear dark nights with very little light pollution. For those who enjoy wildlife Hemsford is a haven for wild birds, flora and fauna. Some guests have been treated to views over our lake with Barn Owls, deer, foxes and bats regularly spotted in our fields.
