Property information

Hexham House is a beautifully restored Grade II listed building with views of Hexham Abbey and grounds. This historic building in the heart of Hexham dates back to the early 1700’s and has been recently fully renovated into seven luxury apartments. Each has an individual layout and style and all have high-end fittings and furnishings. Hexham House Apartment Seven is the penthouse and is regularly used as The Bridal Suite. It really does boast the most fabulous accommodation for guests wanting to escape for a romantic break or a small family wanting to celebrate a special occasion. Set on the third floor, the apartment has an open-plan living area and kitchen and separate dining hall. The master bedroom is a stunning room with a kingsize bed and original fireplace. There is also a smaller bedroom with a further kingsize bed. The bathroom boasts a freestanding roll-top bath, as well as a shower cubicle and heated towel rail. Each apartment has a parking permit for one vehicle to be parked at Hexham Abbey Car Park, a one-minute walk away, with an unloading area next to the apartments. All this information is provided with the access instructions before your stay. Bike sheds available on request. High-speed Wi-fi is provided and the internet-enabled TV’s allow for digital channel and catch-up viewing. Set on the edge Hexham Parks and Hexham Abbey Grounds guests can enjoy the public grounds and explore the extensive Sele Park. In the heart of "Happy Hexham" there is a wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars within a short stroll as well as easy access to a range of independent shops with supermarkets also in walking distance.

Hexham is an historic market town clustered around the Abbey, with independent shops, national retailers, a cinema, arts centre, walks along the Tyne, fishing, golf and many other activities. Hexham is also ideally located to explore Hadrian’s Wall UNESCO World Heritage Site, Northumberland National Park, the North Pennines (AONB), Sill Landscape Discovery Centre and the International Dark Skies Park. Hexham House Apartments offer a superb central location for exploring Hexham, Hadrian's Wall and beautiful Northumberland.
