Chalet 111, situated in Norton Holiday Park has been fully renovated/refurbished to a very high standard with fully fitted modern kitchen, large shower room and two bedrooms (1 double, 1 room with 2 large bunk beds). The main living area is spacious and airy, with 2 large recliner sofas, TV/DVD and dining area. Chalet 111 is on a quiet, sunny site, with open views over a large grassy and wooded area; Norton Park itself is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a perfect base for exploring South Devon. There are several beautiful beaches nearby - Blackpool Sands a five minute drive, Torcross Beach a few minutes further on. It is within easy reach of Totnes, Kingsbridge, Hope Cove, Salcombe, Brixham, Torquay, to name a few of the nearby little villages/towns. Dartmoor is within easy reach for a day trip by car. There is a Sainsburys, Lidl, Spar, Garage, Leisure Centre with pool and a Park & Ride within a half mile walking distance from the Park. Alternatively, there is a bus from the Park entrance, which will take you 1.5 miles to the quaint, quirky, beautiful and historic town of Dartmouth, which boasts an abundance of shops, bars, cafe's, restaurants and entertainment. Dartmouth Spa is 1.5 miles, with an 18 hold golf course and indoor pool. Woodlands Leisure Park, a fantastic place for all ages, is 4 miles away, with water slides, indoor play area and animals.
Lesley was born in the Shetland Islands; a retired chef and B&B landlady, she has moved to Devon to be near her family, who have all gravitated down to this beautiful part of the country, and is thoroughly enjoying herself exploring all that Devon has to offer, looking after her chalet guests and being a grannie!
Norton Park is quiet and surrounded by outstanding countryside. It is 1.5 miles from Dartmouth, which is accessible by car, via a Park & Ride (within walking distance), or bus, which stops outside the Park entrance. There is a Sainsburys, Lidl, Spar, Leisure Centre & Garage within half a mile walking distance. An ideal spot for a base to explore all Devon has to offer. Beautiful beaches a short drive away, 18 hole golf course, and Dartmoor is an easy day trip out by car.
