This homely and historic ‘Grade II Listed’ cottage offers you calm space to unwind and step outside of everyday life. Everything in the cottage has been carried though artistic design and thought, offering high quality furniture and furnishings throughout, many of which are antiques. Highday House is a 1 bed cottage, perfect for couples or a single visitor. The bedroom has a beautiful balance of old and new, with a restored antique bed frame and a Which 'Best Buy' double mattress, for optimum comfort. The kitchen is also wonderfully finished and well equipped for a short or longer stay. (All the better for making the most of Totnes’ incredible reputation for local produce!) In the living room, you'll find a long antique country house sofa, a large antique table for dinner (and the inevitable zoom-meetings) and a cosy log burner (logs are easily available in town). Our bathroom, with over-bath shower, is located on the ground floor. At the back of the property is our sun terrace, accessible by an outside spiral staircase, perfect for enjoying the weather and soaking in the town.
