The former captain's residence and once upon a time rectory, epitomises all that is expected of a Georgian property, and certainly does not fail to impress with its grandeur. Relax in one of our four individually styled rooms, each with elegant en-suite facilities and large luxurious beds. You can expect a warm Yorkshire welcome at Highgate House, ideal for couples wanting a romantic break or just to get away from it all and relax together.

Please note that there are several flights of stone steps to access the house from the street and 2 flights of stairs to access the rooms from the hall. Also, the walk to and from town is via a steep slope. Highgate House may therefore not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.
