Oil central heating (GBP 15per week November-March), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. 7-acre grounds and children’s play area. Bike store. Private parking. Electric vehicle charging point. No smoking.. This delightful holiday cottage adjoins the owners’ Grade II listed, 18th-century farmhouse. The original features have been combined with modern fittings to create a comfortable holiday home. Situated within a village it has direct access to Hadrian’s Wall and the coastal cycle route (72). It lies 3 miles west of Carlisle and is a short drive to the Scottish Border, Lake District and Northumberland’s National Park, and is close to the Solway Firth. Fishing can be found nearby.
