Company information

Hi I am Martin, I live with my wife Tracy. Along with Honeysuckle Cottage we have three other holiday lets. Primrose Cabin and Primrose Cottage, which are a few hundred yards down the lane. and The Dairyman Suite which is a unique Band B suite at our farm just a mile away; all can be viewed on Booking site I am passionate about our beautiful area and often paint as a hobby artist, thoroughly inspired by the local landscape. My wife is a freelance writer and author. I grew up in the New Forest and my wife moved to Dorset when we married some 35 plus years ago. We moved to this area a decade or so ago. We enjoy the outdoors and are both very creative. We know Dorset well and have tried to provide as much information as we can for your enjoyment. We have tried to make all our properties to the standard of somewhere we would like to stay. We are blessed to live in such a beautiful county. We hope you love it as much as we do.

There is a log burner, inglenook fireplace and Smart TV with Satellite, There is also board games, colouring, and books. The bathroom is well equipped with bath and shower. Honeysuckle Cottage was a former blacksmith and gamekeepers cottage built in the early 1800s. It is a quaint, cosy, grade 2 listed thatch. Its quirky features include paneled stairs, original bread oven, and inglenook fireplace. The cottage was fully and sympathetically restored in 2021 and offers everything for all stays, for you and your doggie friends. Please do not allow your dogs on the bed. The peace is tangible broken by the snuffle of deer that occasionally walk through the garden. If you want tranquil, safe peace or family stay with easy access to woodland walks, beaches and tourist attractions it is a great place to choose. We have another cottage that sleeps 4 and a log cabin that sleeps two, close to all in there own private settings and all within a short distance of each other, we try to provide a memorable stay for our guests. We also have a unique little B and B suite at our 18th Century farm house, a mile up the road. We look forward to welcoming you if you choose to stay. Please do not charge your electric vehicle as we are not insured and it could be a fire hazard to the thatch.
