Large, spacious 4 bedroom beautiful house. Sleeps up to 8. Overlooking the River Wye. Surrounded by Welsh countryside & Glasbury beach opposite. Please contact direct for less than 8 people stays search "Acorn Lodge Glasbury on Wye" for special rates. The River flows by the garden, perfect for kayaking or paddle boarding followed by a BBQ on the riverbank garden or a roaring log fire after a long walk in Winter. Hay on Wye, with its bookshops and literary festival, walking the Brecon Beacons and Chrickhowell, water activities on Llangors Lake, and horse riding are all within a short distance

Glasbury village offers a range of good local facilities including a church, two local pubs, garage/shop etc. We have put together a local information pack inside the property but can also email upon request to help make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Please search for direct contact. Hay on Wye the historic market town world famous for its historic second hand book shops is just 4 miles away. Brecon is 11 miles and Hereford 25 miles. As a community of 5 homes along the river bank it is essential that the neighbours are not disturbed by undue noise especially after 2200 hrs. There is a bus stop 300yds which will take you into Hay on Wye, Hereford and surrounding areas. On the opposite side of the road the bus will take you into Brecon and beyond.
