After years of living in busy towns and cities, I made Dorset my home over a decade ago — and I’ve never looked back. I absolutely fell in love with the pace, the peace, and the beauty of country life. Hurst Cottage holds a very special place in our hearts. My husband and I lovingly renovated it and even lived there for a while before starting our family in nearby Okeford Fitzpaine. When we moved, we considered letting the cottage full-time, but always felt it had something more to offer — a little countryside escape for others to enjoy, just as we had.
