公司信息
Originally from Northumberland just 60 scenic miles away, we made Inglestone House our new home in the spring of 2014.
A long standing love affair with the beautiful countryside and dramatic history of the Borders brought us to the town to realise the dream of running our very own B & B. We had been searching for that “lifestyle” change for some time and were lucky enough to find it here in Kelso. Numerous family holidays with our two boys, walking and exploring the surrounding area, made this a familiar place and with so much to do and incredibly friendly locals we can’t quite believe our luck at living here.
Lisa has a background in Early Years, having spent 15 years working for Northumberland County Council and latterly a children’s charity as a Family Support Worker.
Colin’s background is in Mechanical Engineering. He finally stopped the commute between Kelso and Newcastle at the end of June 2015. A busy summer last year saw his “in house” training continue.

Inglestone House is a stunning Georgian property and as such is full of character; with original floors and a Chinese Style staircase, in vogue during the 1750’s, it really is one of a kind. It is situated in the fabulous town of Kelso and has a long, rich history. We are so very excited to delve into its past and hope to get started soon!
We have 6 bedrooms in total these include a family suite consisting of 2 bedrooms which can sleep upto 4 people, 4 twin rooms and a double room.
Two twin rooms, downstairs are equipped for people with mobility difficulties and can be accessed via a ramp from the rear of the building.
The property is in the very centre of Kelso, overlooking the Abbey and its gardens out the front and the town square out the back. Being in the centre of Kelso the property is ideally situated for restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes.
We have a bike shed in our garden where guests can store their bicycles, please bring your own locks (bicycles are stored at the guests own risk).
