Victoria Cottage, 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 4), was built in the 19th century and used at one time as the brew house for the local Golden Ball Inn. It has been fully modernised to provide 21st century standards of comfort and convenience, at all seasons of the year. It is dog-friendly and is found in a lovely idyllic backwater of Ironbridge with beautiful treetop views over the Gorge yet only a ten minute walk to the historic centre and the world's first Iron Bridge, coffee shops, restaurants and museums. Parking is just beyond (20 metres) the cottage on the left.
Passionate about the beautiful, truly iconic town of Ironbridge and delighted to be able to offer our cosy, comfy ‘Victoria Cottage’ tucked away in a quiet backwater of Ironbridge to our new and existing guests with walks on the doorstep and a couple of very local pubs & restaurants. We always hope to welcome our guests to Victoria Cottage and tell them a bit about the cottage and Ironbridge & there's also self check in and plenty of leaflets at the cottage!
Overlooking The Ironbridge Gorge, walks directly accessible from the cottage. There are lots of good restaurants in Ironbridge along the Wharfage and coffee shops to relax after a good walk; Darby’s, Truffles, The Greenwood Café. There is canoe/kayaking down on The Wharfage (shropshire raft tours) and Ironbridge has many museums about its' world heritage history these and all relevant information can be found online. If you are driving, parking is just beyond the cottage (20 yards) on the left. The Ironbridge itself is only a 12 minute walk from the cottage.
