Jack Cottage is a traditional 'chocolate box' Peak District grit stone cottage built in 1770. It has been beautifully modernised with with a fun combination of old and new.

Hi my name is Matt and me and my wife Ginny own Jack's Cottage. It has been in our family for decades and was our home before we decided to make it a holiday cottage. We have loved creating a fun and boujie place to stay and look forward to meeting you. I am a teacher of product design and Ginny is a property manager. We love hiking, mountain biking and would love to share our local knowledge with you.
Jack's Cottage is located within the conservation area of Curbar village within the Peak District National Park. The village sits underneath the stunning Curbar and Frogatt Edge. There are miles of scenic walking and cycling from your door step. It is a very safe and friendly area.
There is free private off street parking at Jack's Cottage. You will need a car or taxi to navigate directly to the cottage or a local bus can take you to the a joined village of Calver. From Calver you can access bus routes to Bakewell, Chatsworth, Sheffield and Chesterfield. From Chesterfield and Sheffield you can access all major bus and train links.
Baslow, Calver and Chatsworth are all within walking distance but you may wish to cycle or drive.
Bakewell is a short drive away.
