Jacobs Ally is a studio apartment situated on the 1st floor, the building is accessed via The Market Tavern yard, right in the centre of the town. The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished with a modern style. The property does not come with parking, however is adjacent to two large car parks (free of charge in evenings). The building was structurally partially demolished and reconstructed to a high quality finish in 2020. The original oak beams and trusses give the apartment a very cosy feel. Fittings include an additional comfy settee, wrought iron double bed, bathroom , kitchen, smart tv, free WiFi, wardrobe and drawers, electric heating, and luxury carpet throughout. Although there is no oven, the kitchen contains everything required to facilitate self catering including air fryer, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and cutlery.
Hi Guests, I live 5 minutes walk away so can be on site very quickly in needed. When arriving by car put HG58AN into your navigation aid which will bring you to the centre of the 2 main carparks, at this point your navigation will state you have arrived at your destination, at this point look directly ahead and you will find the rear yard to the Market Tavern pub where you can park and unload, you can stay in these carparks for up to 4 hours but there is a long stay car park on York Place just 5 minutes walk.
Knaresborough is an ancient market town with a population of around 15k, it’s best feature is the famous castle and its viaduct view not forgetting the Wednesday market and plenty of restaurants takeaways and pub food. The town also hosts various events such as our annual bed race which attracts up to 35 thousand people creating a carnival atmosphere you will remember for life and Feva which is a arts carnival week featuring local artists and music everywhere.
