Welcome to my lovely Cotswold townhouse in the centre of Charlbury. I recently refurbished it, keeping the original old beams and exposed stone walls and adding modern bathrooms and three extremely comfortable hotel-style beds. It's set up for children: crib (travel cot), cot bed, high chair, books etc. N.B. I've put some art on the walls since I took these photos! Easy access to Blenheim, Oxford, Soho Farmhouse, Daylesford. Three pubs within a 3-minute walk! NB I'm now locking the top floor so it has just the 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with walk-in shower. There is no bath as this is in the ensuite to the room I've locked off as it's storing lots of my stuff! With great access to London, Oxford and the rest of the Cotswolds, my house is perfect for walkers, romantic weekends away or families of local residents coming to visit and wanting their own space. It's a pretty, old stone cottage with 3 double bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one is en suite) and a third bathroom with WC on the ground floor. It's in a terraced row of similar stone cottages.

Music-minded mother of one, also working in media/music. I can't live without my Apple computers, a swimming pool nearby, Audible, country air... and my charismatic daughter. Not necessarily in that order! I'm house proud and keep things rather clean and tidy, but I would hope that's a good thing...

Charlbury has are 3 pubs (all within a 3-minute walk of the house), including the lovely Bull Inn and the newly opened Bell Inn. Food is amazing but you best book ahead! We also have Chloe's cafe, the deli and a new Brazilian restaurant! There is a Co-op grocery store open 7am-10pm, 7 days a week which is very handy and we all shop there! The Charlbury Community Centre, a 5 minute walk away has a fabulous play park for children of all ages with a cafe and a libary attached and big field for football etc - you can sit on the patio drinking nice coffee while your kids run around... There's also a pharmacy next to the deli, which is helpful. For venturing into the Cotswolds, Charlbury is a great place to base yourselves. It's also easy to jump on a train or Bus to Oxford and see the sights... GETTING HERE: By train: It's a 70-minute train ride direct from London Paddington to Charlbury and you can walk from the station in about 8 minutes. By car: It's a 1 hour and 30 minute drive from West London. Take the M40, get off at junction 8, then the A44...until you turn left at Judd's garage...
