Listed period cottage in the pretty conservation village of Kilconquhar near Elie with its beautiful sandy beach. Convenient for exploring St Andrews and East Neuk fishing villages. The cottage sleeps six and is thought to date from the late 18th century. Features log burner and enclosed garden with summerhouse. Situated in a quiet lane, with a private parking space for one car. Pet friendly.
Loving life in the East Neuk with my family. I enjoy books, food, music and walking on beautiful beaches.
We live around ten minutes away in Pittenweem and are contactable by mobile and email.
Kilconquhar is a pretty conservation village with its own loch and nature reserve, as well as a historic church.
There are pretty walks from the doorstep and it is a short walk to the award winning Kinneuchar Inn. Dining is also available at the Kilconquhar Country Estate. Nearby Elie has a beautiful sandy beach as well as lots of places to eat, and is on the Fife coastal path which links to the historic fishing villages of the East Neuk. St. Andrews is a 20 minute drive away.
A car is useful for exploring the area but the village is also served by public transport. There are pretty walks within the village itself, as well as to Elie, while the nearby Fife Coastal Path connects the fishing villages of the East Neuk.
