Juliet Cottage is new to Booking . com (2020) and is a gorgeous, warm and welcoming cottage which was built in the early 1800's and its secure, compact and pretty patio backs directly on to Alnwick town walls. We have been told that the cottage was built by the Duke of Northumberland for Italian artisans coming to work on the castle interior nearly two centuries ago. The cottage sits about a five minute walk from the entrance to Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens as well as all the lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants in the friendly town of Alnwick. We have a gorgeous (kingsize) bedroom for our guests and there's also a small bunk room if you would like to bring more than two of you to stay. It is a lovely warm and welcoming cottage and we have been repeatedly awarded awarded Air bnb superhost status and Trip advisor Certificates of Excellence.

My name is Louise and I love my cottages in Alnwick. I have two brilliant helpers (known as "The Team") Marvellous Mandy and her Mum Brenda. We all take pride in the cottages and do everything we can to ensure that our guests have a great holiday. We are always trying to improve our guests experience whilst on holiday, and we have just added Nespresso machines to our cottages and Google Home Mini's in some of the rooms.

Alnwick Castle is just down the road, Juliet Cottage must be one of the very closest holiday cottages to the entrance to the castle. The town of Alnwick is an extremely friendly place and has lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs. We give details of our faves in the visitors info booklet, along with suggested walks and places to visit etc. The beach at Alnmouth is only a 10 minute drive away and so you can enjoy a holiday which not only focuses on castles, countryside, the Romans, great food and drink, but also there is one of the best coastlines in the country and it is only a very short drive away (and you could even also walk, bus or cycle there!).
