Lovely house in central Kendal close to public transport. Access on the main road but quiet through being behind other houses. Well laid out with plenty space for one or two people.

Built in 1750 , very cosy cottage over three floors with open fireplace. The dining room has a moroccan theme hence the name. Very convenient for town centre, fabulous walks, shops, bars and restaurants the choice is endless. We always score highly for location , you could arrive by train as it is a 3 minute walk, regular trains to Windermere take 10 minutes and saves trying to park at peak times, why not get off half way at the Hawkshead brewery , often live bands there and the food and beer is excellent
This is our first year of hosting , we are enjoying it so far and love to hear about guests favourite places during their stay. Our favourite dog walk is over to Serpentine Woods the views are stunning. Kendal is a dogs paradise as most places are happy to accommodate your dog whilst you eat and with the endless beautiful paths and parks close by they get to enjoy the breakaway too.
There are so many nearby attractions, Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall, Holker Hall , the river Kent , railway and bus station, town centre all within 10 minutes walk. Cartmell is within easy reach and worth a visit, home to the Priory and 'sticky toffee pudding' the pubs there are highly recommended for food. We always score highly for location , you could arrive by train as it is a 3 minute walk, regular trains to Windermere which takes 10 minutes and saves trying to park at peak times.
