Kilnside was rebuilt from an existing outbuilding into a luxury, self-catering cottage, with work finishing at the beginning of 2020. The space now boasts a stunning open-plan, vaulted kitchen and living area with large bi-fold doors onto a private patio. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed with ensuite shower room. Both the bedroom and living room have a stunning view down the valley towards the coast at Lyme Regis. Kilnside is a generous 40sqm, and has been purposely designed to feel spacious and private, with an unhindered view. Behind the cottage, and viewable from the bedroom, is one of the only remaining lime kilns from when the area was a working quarry, some 200 years ago. Please note that Kilnside is separate to, but located next to our family home, and as such there will be the normal coming and goings of daily life, in the driveway and some of the garden.

We moved back to Devon, from London, in 2017, and love spending our spare time on the beach with our two young children.

Adjacent to our home, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the East Devon and Dorset border, Kilnside is located less than two miles from Lyme Regis town and beach, with the village pub and local store just a short 5 minute walk away. River Cottage HQ is just 10 minutes drive away. You can walk the East Devon pathway to Lyme Regis (1.5 miles), which follows the river down the valley to the coast.
