Kings Cottage is in Nairn’s historical Fishertown area only 5 minutes walk from the harbour, beach and Town centre. The Cottage offers clean, comfortable, spacious yet cosy family-friendly accommodation with all the usual self catering facilities. There is a small enclosed garden with table and chairs and use of a barbeque. Free off-road parking is available.

Married with 2 grown up children. Live in Scotland. Lived and worked overseas for 33 years. The owners live in Nairn and would generally be available during your stay to address any queries you may have, to provide information, to make suggestions regarding local places of interest, to offer advice about places to visit, where to walk, picnic, where to exercise, where to dine, etc.

Nairn has some of the best beaches in Scotland and also offers great scope for walking, jogging, swimming, bird watching, boating and dolphin watching. Nairn boasts two first class 18 hole golf courses (there is also a 9 hole course ). There is a public swimming pool and a sports club offering various exercise classes, as well as badminton, squash and outdoor tennis and a fully equipped gym. Nairn has many bars, cafes and restaurants offering a variety of local and international cuisine from fish and chips to fine dining alternatives including the award winning Sun Dancer restaurant. There are beautiful walks along the sea front or inland along the banks of the River Nairn. By car Nairn is within an hour’s drive of Aviemore and the Cairngorms and an hour also from the many famous Speyside whisky distilleries. Kings Cottage is less than 10 miles from Inverness airport. Nairn bus station, offering a regular service through to Inverness and Aberdeen, is less than 10 minutes walk from the Cottage, while the train station, also connecting to Inverness and Aberdeen, is but 5 minutes drive from the Cottage.
