If extra numbers are required - the property will sleep a very maximum of 12 at a real squeeze using the additional options of a sofa bed in the Drawing Room and both an extra day bed and an extra truckle bed in the largest en-suite bedroom. Dining is for up to 12. Please note that Lady Margaret's adheres to a strict Good Neighbour Policy. Parties are strictly forbidden and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. I am a semi-retired advertising executive and was a Director of our local tourist organisation called VisitBath for a number of years. I moved down from London to Bath with my wife Kate about 30 years ago and have been in love with the City ever since. In terms of Lady Margaret's, I tend to care for the management and Kate looks after the interior design - we also rely on a brilliant team of cleaners and other specialists to keep everything 'just so'. Outside of work I love comedy and founded the Bath Comedy Festival a few years ago. I am also addicted to sailing and currently race a Solo dinghy at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club about 15 miles to the west of Bath.

All the major tourist sights are just a short walk away including the Thermae Bath Spa, the Roman Baths and the Abbey. The area is a shopper's and diner's delight with the very best of the City literally on your doorstep. However please note that one of our greatest benefits - the fact that you can hear a pin drop at night, is also one of our biggest challenges - the fact that our neighbours can be easily disturbed. We adhere to a strict Good Neighbour Policy and any anti-social behaviour including upraised voices and music at night will not be tolerated.
